The Empire of Iron:

 

The Empire is lead by Emperor Daivel, it is a very War oriented Empire, working mostly in metal works and battle tactics. The Region is mostly covered in Demos and a friendly face is probably the least likely thing you will find. Here all that matters is power and strength, lets not forget loyalty to the Emperor. Or else. Most young men and woman are forced to serve the Empire in one way shape or form, but mostly slave labor or bodies for the military. However the Imperial Knighthood is filled with nothing but elite and veteran soldiers.

There are rumors that Emperor Daivel has sold his soul for power.

The Kingdom of Soul:

The Kingdom is lead by King Viador, it is peaceful most of the time and filled mostly by Gods. They are a very wise and intelligent people. Spending most times in study and Rune work. Though Lately the Church of Gardoga has been attempting to quell the fear spread by the neighboring Empire. The King himself is friendly and deals with his subjects personally on most occasions to be more with the people. The Knighthood is mostly soldiers that have trained for just about nothing. They haven't dealt with much more than a few bandit parties, or small crimes within the Kingdom.

The Paladins of Gardoga however are used to dealing with Demos. Trained in Runic Magics against them. They are the most likely to have the body covered in runes to protect them from Magic and deal out amazing power. They however are not directly controlled by Soul, but they are peacekeepers, and destroyers of evil.

This is the City you live in during the day in the current world and time, but at night it transports to the medieval world and physically changes, large buildings turning into castle like structures, homes into small huts or stone houses. Currently no leader at night, but during the day the Mayor would be who you could go to for leadership... If he is willing to talk about the other world.

Races

Humans:

Even though humans are the basic and controlling Race there is a reason. They have far advanced their weapons, armor, and combat strategies in constant war. They may be considered young and weak by the other two races, but they are feared as much as looked down on. The kind of magic they use is whats referred to as Book Magic, or Incantation Magic.

Demos: 

Demos are fearful looking humanoid creatures corrupted by their own pride and ambitions, looking anything from people with claws and sharp teeth, to large reptilian beasts and werewolf like creatures. They are angry, primal, and usually looking for a fight. They have special abilities of Self Enhancement fusing their bodies with harsh magics that warp their bodies in some way to become the weapons of their choice.

Gods: 

Gods are usually very humanoid, with slightly elongated ears, but what makes them stick out the most is the runic drawings all over their bodies, or clothes. Some of the time they even carry weapons and armor with runes. The uneducated would think they immortal deity's but really they are simply slightly long lived people who use a different form of magic. Without the proper knowledge one can not use the runes.
